Bill Cash MP supports petitioners aiming to save 432 and 433 bus services

Press release 31/01/11

In relation to the news that Arriva are due to cease operating specific services at the end of February 2011 – notably the 432 and 433 bus services – the local MP for Stone, Bill Cash MP said:
“There is very strong feeling against the removal of vital transport services within my constituency and I have raised the concerns with the Secretary of State for Transport along with a 900-strong petition.
“I have made ongoing representations on behalf of my constituents already and will continue to do so – and I have made it clear to my constituents that I very much support the objective to keep the 432 and 433 bus service.
“Along with the strong petition and letters, I am continuing to press these serious concerns with the Chief Executive of Arriva and also Staffordshire County Council, to see if a resolution to the issue can be found.”
